Thank you to all the volunteers who made a huge impact on the environment last weekend! We had a flotilla ferrying volunteers out to the marsh where we knew cleanup was especially needed. The largest debris was a full floating dock carried out of the marsh by Somers Point’s own James Toto—City Councilman and constant Patcong Creek Foundation volunteer. The usual bottles, plastic bags, styrofoam from floating docks, tires, etc were found, too.

We continue to believe that the more we clean and keep the Creek pristine, others will follow suit and limit their litter.

Remember, litter sticks around. Don’t throw it in the water or on the ground.
